The KFC Big Bash League is pleased to welcome Bupa as its Official Health Insurance Partner for the upcoming season.

Bupa is Australia’s number one health insurance provider and transitions to League sponsor after 10 years as a partner of Australia’s national teams.

The partnership between the League and Bupa will bring significant benefits for Bupa members, with exclusive offers on BBL apparel, signed merchandise and money can’t buy experiences.

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s Head of Big Bash Leagues, said: “The arrival of Bupa as Official Health Insurance Partner of the KFC BBL is yet another testament to the strength of the League. We thank Bupa for their ongoing support of cricket and look forward to some great offers for all cricket fans this season.”

Gretchen Fox, Bupa Director of Health Insurance Marketing, said: “Bupa is once again proud to partner with Cricket Australia, this year with the BBL. We know our members love cricket, as do we. Through this partnership, this season we will be giving our members great BBL offers, experiences and opportunities.”

The company has been a sponsor of Australia’s national teams for 10 years, but has now switched its association with Cricket Australia to the Big Bash League.

According to the SportBusiness Sponsorship 2020 Australia data snapshot, Bupa’s sponsorship of the national teams was worth A$2m ($1.5m) per season. Its Big Bash activation will include exclusive offers on Big Bash League apparel and hospitality experiences for the league.
